Communication

CMIS uses several tools to communicate with our community, the primary resource to access information is our website at. As a school we want to keep clear and open lines of communication to all community members, while our website has information, students and parents can expect regular emails from teachers and administrators regarding specific events and notifications.

  • Teachers communicate general information to students and families via school email, Google Classroom, or the school planner.
  • Primary school teachers send home weekly newsletters containing the current learning objectives and any reminders or updates.
  • Community bulletin boards. Any poster or communication placed on CMIS campus must have a stamp from the front office and be placed on a designated bulletin board.

We believe that positive communication is vital to the success of our school, when communicating with students, teachers, and/or parents please follow these guidelines:

  1. Assume positive intentions with all communications.
  2. Actively Listen
  3. Seek understanding
  4. Help each other be right
