111 — Dr. Yuthachai Damrongmanee, the CMIS director and manager, visited Cambodia and met with Oknha Chea Thilay, a chairman from the NTC Group, to discuss the upcoming activities between Chiang Mai International School, Sovannaphumi School, and East-West International School, which is under the NTC Group.

Partnerships with schools have the potential to significantly support teachers and students in improving school development and providing distinctive educational opportunities.

111 — Embark on an unforgettable journey through history as we explore the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor Wat! Join us for an educational adventure where learning and excitement go hand in hand.

In celebration of our 70th Anniversary, CMIS is thrilled to present three incredible overseas trips for our students, allowing them to explore the world and broaden their horizons. One of these exciting journeys takes us to the heart of Cambodia, to the legendary Angkor Wat—a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Angkor Wat, a stunning collection of remarkable Hindu and Buddhist temples, is often hailed as one of the 'Seven Wonders Of The World.' This monumental site offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultures of both Hinduism and Buddhism, all within the confines of the world's largest religious monument.

But that's not all! Our students will also have the chance to connect with peers from East West International School, fostering friendships and participating in engaging activities together. It's an adventure of a lifetime, and we can't wait to make memories that will last a lifetime.

111 — Join us later this week for a fantastic night of theater at the CMIS Fall Play, 'Two Comedies by Ian McWerthy.' The CMIS Drama Department is delighted to present 'Superheroes: With Great Power Comes Ordinary Responsibility' and 'Bad Auditions from Bad Actors.' Catch these hilarious performances at the CMIS auditorium on Thursday and Friday (Oct 19 & 20) at 4:00 PM. Best of all, admission is free! Don't miss the laughter and drama!

111 — On September 30th, training sessions on 'AI for Education' and 'AI for Work' were organized at Chiang Mai International School. These sessions aimed to enhance professional growth, tech literacy, and teaching effectiveness. We were honored to have a renowned digital educator as the trainer. Through hands-on learning, our Thai educators gained valuable insights, enriching both teaching and work for the benefit of our school and students.

111 — Last week, to complete our clothing theme for September, Pre-KB4 designed their own T-shirts using various shapes, acrylic paint, and, of course, lots of imagination. Well done!

111 — On Friday, October 6th, Wheaton College visited CMIS, enlightening parents and students about their admission process. We're proud to say that some recent CMIS students have found their academic home there, with one from the Class of 2023 earning a scholarship.

Wheaton College, a private Evangelical Christian liberal arts college in Wheaton, Illinois, consistently earns high marks in national rankings. It has been named a Top 60 liberal arts college by the Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education for the past four years.

111 — Study Canada Week at CMIS!

During the first week of October, we celebrated Canadian University Week. CMIS had the privilege of hosting two esteemed Canadian universities: the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto. Dita Mahmud from UBC and David Leong from U of T shared invaluable insights about university admissions with our parents and CMIS students.

Canada stands out as the top choice for international students due to its world-class education system, renowned universities with excellent graduate prospects, and a culture of tolerance and diversity. It's no wonder Canada is a sought-after destination for learning, living, and working!

111 — Our students delved into the world of time as a continuous measurement using stopwatches. With three spins of the top , they calculated the duration until it stopped and diligently recorded their findings on their worksheets.
