Ms. Beth's AP Art and Design students along with Mr. Guy's Drawing and Painting students recently went on a fun and inspiring excursion to CMU Arts Faculty and MAIIAM Gallery. Students experienced a professional photography shoot, spoke to the CMU artists graduating from the Printmaking workshop, and also saw and interacted with art in a contemporary setting. Students were able to discuss artists' concepts and how and why art is displayed in various ways within a gallery. What a mature and impressive group of students - we look forward to seeing what they come up with next in their own creative practice.

On Saturday, November 11th, CMIS students showcased their diplomatic skills at a Model United Nations (MUN) conference with other international schools in Chiang Mai. Their diligent preparation was evident as they spoke convincingly and confidently on complex global issues, demonstrating their commitment to diplomacy and public speaking. Overall, it was a resounding success! As we approach the Christmas break and Semester 2, students are gearing up for more hard work as they prepare for the next MUN conference in March.
