Grade 6 Art

In Visual Arts the students will revisit materials they are already familiar with as well as learn about new materials and techniques. Where possible we will collaborate with other subjects such as social studies and English to provide a deeper understanding and show interconnectedness. Our goal is to create a balance between getting familiar with and applying the various techniques, using creativity and imagination, and planning and reflecting on their work. Students will take one semester of Speech and Drama and one semester of Grade 6 Art.
