On September 13, 2023, the CMIS Thai Administration visited Rugby School Thailand to strengthen our partnership. Through these connections, we're fostering global awareness and understanding among our students, building their confidence, and benefiting our entire school community. Together, we're preparing students for success in a globalized world.

The Exotic Pet Club had an amazing educational experience on September 20, 2023! They visited the Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology Museum at Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, where they got up close with real animal skeletons and organs.

Last week, CMIS Counseling welcomed Dr. Grace Kim from Azusa Pacific University to provide firsthand insights into this remarkable institution. Located in the heart of Southern California, just 20 miles east of Los Angeles, APU is a diverse and welcoming university.
.
Notably, 100% of incoming undergraduates receive some form of institutional aid, making quality education accessible. APU also offers scholarships for academics, athletics, leadership, and more.
.
For prospectuses and brochures, students can visit Ms. Aon's office. Don't miss out on exploring the opportunities at APU!

12 of our high school band students joined schools from all around SE Asia at the Bangkok International Band Festival hosted at ISB. They rehearsed all day Friday and then performed a concert Saturday afternoon. The students got to work with guest conductor, Dr. Heidi Miller, from Gustavus Adolphus College in the United States and had a video lesson with the composer of the SpiderMan 3 music! The concert sounded fantastic , and the students made some great friends from other schools!

Last week, the PTG held their first parent meeting to announce the new leadership team, explore the ways the PTG supports CMIS, and how to get involved. The PTG seeks to CONNECT families, DEVELOP community initiatives & student programs, and ADVOCATE for parents and students to achieve an even more close-knit, thriving community of students and their families. We also had an extended period of time asking questions and sharing feedback with administration leadership. The PTG has set up an Official Line Group which you are encouraged to join in order to receive updates on events coming up.
