CMIS Stories

CMIS features photos and videos in our CMIS Gallery and on our CMIS Social Media Platforms.  Below are some recent highlights.

Our final experiment in our Air unit was to create balloon rockets! We learned how compressing and releasing the air would create an explosive force. We were thrilled to put our knowledge to the test with exciting races against our classmates. Teamwork taught us to be flexible, win or lose. It was a blast; we can't wait for our next Science adventure.

We are thrilled to announce that the High School Counseling Team at CMIS has organized a special event for our students! Join us in welcoming Mr. Jim Crawley, Director of Global Recruitment from Hope College, Michigan, U.S.A.
Mr. Crawley will be providing valuable information about admission and scholarship opportunities at Hope College. With its impressive #1 ranking among the Best Liberal Arts Colleges in Michigan and #22 for Undergraduate Research and Creative Project Opportunities, Hope College is truly a beacon of educational excellence.

Explore the Fascinating World of Lizards! Our Exotic Animal Club is excited to introduce you to 5 unique lizard species, offering a hands-on learning adventure guided by Mr. Sarawut Somsuk. Get ready to dive in!
This past month, guest speakers Mr. Chris and Mr. Rachant visited our Entrepreneurship and Finances class. It was a pleasure meeting both experts in the business field as we learned about the importance of managing our finances and the foundation of a successful business. We had a great time discussing constructive ideas that we learned in class and potential ways to apply them to the real world.
Thank you to both Mr. Chris and Mr. Rachant for giving us such invaluable experiences!

We're thrilled to announce the return of the Harvest Festival, a beloved tradition! Save the date for Thursday, October 12th, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m. We have a cornucopia of fun activities planned and can't wait to reunite our community. This event's success is thanks to the hard work of StuCo, our clubs, advisors, teachers, and parents. Huge thanks to everyone who made it possible!
