Chiang Mai International School (CMIS) high school students recently expanded their service learning efforts by participating in the Brothers to Sisters Project CMIS 70th Anniversary English Camp on 12-15 February 2024. As part of this initiative, they taught English to primary students in four local schools: Suebnathitam School, Chiang Mai Christian School, Wat Chiangyuen Municipality School, and Wat Ketkaram Municipal School.

Our students designed and led tailored English lessons, fostering a collaborative learning environment. This initiative not only improved the English proficiency of the primary students but also empowered the high school students to develop leadership and teaching skills. Through their dedication to service learning, CMIS students exemplified the school's core values and made a positive impact on their local community.

As PreK4 finished learning about shapes and signs, we did a little excursion away from the classroom to Tweechol Botanical Garden where we could see the connections between what we learned in class and in the real world. We enjoyed observing shapes, signs and plants as well as having fun visiting mini zoo and big playgrounds.
