On Wednesday, March 13th, the Grade 6 Wellness students were in a workshop hosted by RICD Wheelchair Project. The RICD Wheelchair Project is an organization that has been helping those, without the proper mobility aids, get the support that they need by supplying them with wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. The Grade 6 Wellness class is using the information that they learned in the workshop to help them in their service learning project, which is focusing on Different Abilities and Mental Health. Be on the lookout for their posters which will provide everyone with information and resources.

The health check-ups event held at CMIS on Friday, March 15th, was a resounding success, ensuring the well-being of our students. The event, organized by the CMIS health office in collaboration with Bangkok Chiang Mai Hospital, aimed to provide comprehensive dental and ENT (ear, nose, throat) assessments to all participating students.

Parents, students, and staff members actively participated in the event, contributing to its smooth execution. This successful event underscores CMIS's commitment to prioritizing the health and well-being of its students. Such initiatives not only promote a healthy school environment but also empower students to lead healthy lifestyles.

This was our second year participating in the AISAA (Asian International Schools Athletic Association) JV Girls Basketball Tournament in Bangkok, and I am once again filled with awe and admiration for not only my teammates, as I led them as a captain, but also my fellow athletes that we competed against. As I reflect upon the tournament, I know we will remember the two days of travel, playing at a high level, screaming at the top of our lungs on the benches, and our unwavering support for each other for years to come. While the tournament pushed us to our physical and emotional limits, it also brought out the best of us throughout all six of our games. I'm honored to lead my teammates and close friends to a bronze finish in this unforgettable journey as we fought for every basket, supported one another, and displayed utmost dedication to our shared goal of a successful end of our JV girls season. Go Eagles!

This AISAA tournament was our JV girls' second year. Both years, we got 3rd place against very competitive teams! Every year, I feel really proud of my teammates for all their hard work. However, our strongest strength would be our positive sportsmanship, which I think is one of the most important parts of every sport, and is the reason why we got invited to this Bangkok tournament.

Going to Bangkok for a basketball tournament is always my favorite part of the year and is full of thrilling moments. I would like to thank my coaches and the athletic department for organizing this event! I hope all my teammates have good memories from this tournament; supporting each other, laughing, and trying our best for every basket. I think all of this could not have happened if it wasn’t for my teammates and my coaches right now! They earned me a medal for my last JV year, and I am so proud of how much we improved and what we accomplished together. This was an unforgettable trip and a successful ending to the season. I love you Eagles, and LET'S GO EAGLES!!
