Course Description

Weight training is designed for students who are either already passionate about fitness or are interested in learning more about working out. The course teaches students how to safely and effectively design an individual weight training program, using class time as a means of application. Students will be introduced to a variety of training methods and free weight exercises. Students will learn how to safely use weight room equipment and follow universal fitness etiquette. This course will also introduce basic anatomy and physiology and dive deeper into nutrition and supplements. Course can be repeated.
