Course Change Process

If a student wishes to change or withdraw from a course (we strongly encourage them to do so within the first week of the semester) however students have a maximum of up to two weeks (10 school days) to drop/add a course. Students must fill out a “CMIS Schedule Change Form”, also available in the counseling office. This form requires both the signatures of a parent or guardian and current teacher of the course.

Dropping a course:
Occasionally, a change to a schedule is necessary and can be accomplished with the help of the School Counselor.  Adding and dropping classes is permitted during the first two weeks of a semester.  If a student wishes to drop a class once the semester has started they have the first nine weeks of the semester to drop a class with a “W” showing on their transcripts.  Students may not drop a class after 9 weeks in a semester.
