October can often be a challenging month for teachers and students. In conjunction with celebrating World Mental Health Day, the Ignite Club set up a prayer and mindfulness walk on campus. Students and staff were encouraged to take time over two days to slow down and pause. Along the designated trail, you were encouraged to read different encouraging messages and Bible verses. One spot on the walk encouraged gratefulness. What are you grateful for today?

CMIS was proud to welcome live audiences back to the theatre with 'Around The World in 8 Plays', a bright, comedic romp through the folk traditions of people across the globe. You've all heard the story of 'Cinderella'. The tale of 'The Little Mermaid'. But what about the ones Walt Disney missed? What about 'The Story of the Yara' from Brazil, or 'The Lost Beads' from South Africa? Central to the mission of an international school is to learn about, teach about, and celebrate the artistic and cultural offerings of different countries and peoples. Please join us in these efforts and support our young actors as they take you...Around The World in 8 Plays!
