Student Support Department
The Student Support Department (SSD) was formed in 2008. It consists of English for Academic Purposes, the Health Office, Learning Support Services, and Counseling Services. Students can be referred and access these services through teacher request, parent request, and student self-referral. The SSD has developed a protocol and model of delivery of services that it presents to all staff at the beginning of each school year. Its goal is to work together with teachers, administrators, parents, and students for the betterment of all CMIS students.
