I recently moved here from the small community of La Selva Beach, California located near Santa Cruz. I received an AA degree at the local community college in Eureka, California and transferred to the University of California at Santa Cruz to finish a BA in Theatre. I graduated from California State University at Monterey Bay with an Education Specialist Credential with an authorization in Mild/Moderate disabilities.

My prior teaching experience before Thailand was primarily in California and included Elementary levels in Special Education as well as Kindergarten and 1st Grade. I have also taught both Junior High and High School. I taught Pre-Kindergarten in China.

In my free time, I love to sing and play the piano. I also love theatre and being on stage. On the quieter side, I love to write and have published two fictional novels; “Fire and Water” and “Someplace in the Middle”.
