Biography

I consider myself very fortunate. I have spent time working in schools in Britain, South Africa, USA, and now in Thailand. I love working in a diverse environment, enjoy getting to know new people and cultures. I have been married for over 15 years to a humorous and amazing husband. In my free time you find me in nature, I love running, mountaineering, biking, swimming, skiing.

I am a US Licensed School Counselor and a Certified Mental Health Counselor. I am passionate about the work I do, and I am passionate about social justice for children all over the world.

Biography

I am from Toronto, Canada. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and anthropology from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. I have worked in the corporate, non profit, and education sectors both in Canada and abroad. The 2010/11 school year is my fifth year of teaching. I started my career in Korea teaching history, anthropology, and world issues. I am in my third year at CMIS teaching world geography, leadership and model united nations. My free time is spent traveling, taking photos, and running an NGO based in Nepal.

Biography

I come from Colorado and Wyoming in the USA.  Having previously taught in a French high school, I discovered that I love living overseas and exploring different cultures and languages.  I am very passionate about all things French, dancing, and most recently, football.

Biography

 I studied in the US from high school until I finished my MBA in finance. Before I joined CMIS, I had worked with TISCO (finance company), TBMF (Baptist missionary organization), and Grace International School. With the combination of working experiences in the business world, in the missionary circle, and in the international school settings, I believe I can truly understand the people and the work at CMIS and can help us plan for the better future.
