I grew up in Asia as a missionary kid, living in Thailand and attending school in Malaysia and the Philippines. As a result of such positive schooling experiences overseas, I determined to be a teacher overseas myself. After attending college in California and working as a first grade teacher there for 6 years, I returned to Thailand in 1996 to teach first grade in an international school and has been there ever since. Due to staffing needs I soon switched to being the school librarian and found I loved it so much that I am still doing it 13 years later!
