I am pleased to come to Chiang Mai from the U.S. where I lived in Chicago for the past 11 years teaching both elementary music and band for Chicago Public Schools. Originally from St. Joseph, Michigan, I attended Michigan State University and hold a Bachelors of Instrumental Music Education. Additionally, I am National Board Certified in EC/MC Music. I moved here with my husband, Fuad and my dog, Baxter. Fuad works in Bangkok for Leo Burnett, an advertising agency. Fuad & I celebrated our first wedding anniversary shortly after moving to Chiang Mai this summer, we met in yoga teacher training and we're both certified yoga teachers.

I love to learn about music and dance from all over the world and I am a dedicated traveler. Some of my favorite places where I've traveled are Guinea, West Africa, Bali & Hong Kong. I also love to sing & play guitar.
