Biography

I have been a teacher at CMIS since 1998, when I taught my first third grade class.  Previously I taught junior high computers, high school social studies, preschool, ESL, and tutored CMIS students.  I have taught a wide variety of classes since then, including grades 7&8 Social Studies, K-6 Computers, and grade 4 in addition to being ES Coordinator and WASC coordinator for 4 years.  I have two children who attend CMIS as well, giving me a vested interest in maintaining the highest possible quality of education at our school.  I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my students by integrating virtues education and discussing life application beyond the books.  I love learning new things and work hard to model enthusiastic learning, with a good sense of humour, in my teaching.
