On Monday, April 24th, Grade 12 Thai and FL students visited Mama Noi Cooking School. They had a great time learning how to make two of Thailand's most famous dishes, Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai. Students discovered that the majority of the ingredients in Thai dishes are herbs and spices, which are essential in creating the distinct flavor profile found in Thai food. Students also learned how to make Mango and Sticky Rice, a popular summer dish, and finished the day with Thai Iced Tea. Students had a wonderful time while learning valuable life skills, Thai culture, and local wisdom.

Grade 3 did an awesome job with tackling indoor PE due to the smokey weather. Together, we're learning about the stress response system and exploring ways to calm down our "inner warriors" when experiencing anxiety.
