On Friday March 17, Lit Trips: Art Club went to MAIIAM Contemporary Art Center! Mr. Will and CMIS Lit Trip students enjoyed the exhibition and had rich dialogue about the meaning of art and how important contemporary art is to the world! Students enjoyed walking around the exhibition space, discussing art and eating french fries. Lit Trips is fun and educational! Stay lit CMIS!

The CMIS academic counselor team and Health Center worked together for an opportunity to send students to Chiang Mai Hospital during the April Break for a medical field internship. This opportunity is for G11 and G10 students, with 11 students selected to participate in the program. The student will have a chance to visit Bangkok Hospital and to intern at Chiang Mai Hospital.
.
Wednesday, March 22nd, was the first orientation for the group. Ms.Aon and Nurse Bank talked about the regulation, schedule, and dress code to prepare students. We hope the students will have a great time learning more about the medical field during the April break.

Grade 1 went on a field trip to the zoo last week. They got to ride around the zoo and visit all the special exhibits.
Students were excited to feel the chilly temperatures of the snow dome. They enjoyed having snowball fights, racing down the hill and doing the ice slide. Students liked that we got to experience the field trip by taking the Tram. This saved our legs so we could go explore: the mini-zoo exhibits, the panda exhibit, the penguin exhibit and see some funny looking beavers called capybaras.
Grade 1 was happy to have a fun day exploring. We want to thank our awesome volunteers and team at the zoo for helping make this experience possible. We look forward to our next adventure.

As a part of the festivities for International Week and the Songkran festival, the Thai Department organized the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony. This year, Grade 5 students participated in this beautiful event as the student body's representatives. We concluded the event with a Som Tum Lee Laa Contest to highlight Thai culture, and the students were delighted by the performance. Many thanks to the high school students for taking part in this activity to commemorate and celebrate the Songkran festival. On the occasion of Songkran Day, we send our best wishes for happiness and prosperity to the CMIS community. Have a lovely Songkran holiday and a happy new year.
