The Secondary School at CMIS is an American style curriculum and college preparatory in nature. This means that students will take a wide range of courses each year, drawn from the main subject areas: English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science. Students are also expected to take courses in Physical Education, Computer Science, and the Fine Arts: Dance, Music, Art, and Theatre. This is to provide our students with a broad knowledge base and the skills to integrate and synthesize information.

At the upper levels, we offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the College Board tests at the end of the courses. CMIS currently offers fourteen (14) AP classes from which students can choose. In addition to our academic requirements for graduation, it is also expected that all students complete sixty (60) hours of community service over the course of the last four years (Grades 9 through 12) of Secondary School.
